Q. What does Stabilised Oxygen do?

The so called "stabilised oxygen" products are actually salts of oxygen diluted in water. They are essentially a formulation mixing a solution of mildly buffered sodium chlorite with deionized water. If the wrong analytical tests are performed on these solutions, they will give a false positive for the presence of household bleach.
